I stumbled upon the website for Craft Hope today, craft hope . It is an amazing site where crafters and sewers come together to make projects for charity. The most interesting thing, to me, is that they are very specific about each charity and project. The Craft Hope organizers pick a charity and come up with a project and then put it out into the blogosphere for anyone to see. Any individual or group can sign up to participate and all you have to do is complete the project and send it in. Craft Hope's current project is creating sock monkeys for The Little Heroes Preschool Burn Camp which is run by The Firefighter's Burn Institute. Read more about the camp at the Firefighter's Burn Institute web site Firefighther's Burn Institute .
I plan to make at least one monkey and I think the hubby is so interested he may make one too. Check the Craft Hope website to see some of the finished sock monkeys and get inspired!

eeek! I have that same sock monkey in red stripes!
